What Is Soft Washing?

Soft washing uses low pressure and specialist cleaning solutions to treat moss, algae, lichen and organic growth at the source, rather than blasting the surface. The treatments keep working after application, killing growth at the root and preventing the rapid regrowth you get with pressure alone.

The result is a cleaner, brighter surface that stays cleaner for longer - without the risk of damaging render, paint, roof tiles or older materials.

Why Not Just Pressure Wash It?

High pressure on render blows the surface off. On roof tiles it strips the protective coating and forces water under the tiles. On painted surfaces it peels the paint. Soft washing achieves a deeper, longer-lasting clean on these materials precisely because it kills the growth rather than just knocking the tops off.
